![]() You love it, it's great, and you fully enjoy the movie, even knowing full well that you're missing out on some parts of it due to the different formats. Also assume you are a fan of a certain movie filmed in widescreen, watch it multiple times a year, but have only seen it on your tube tv in it's formatted ratio. Most tv's were tube tv's with 4:3 screen ratios. Imagine 20 years ago, before big screen tv's really made it into most living rooms. Honestly, none of that matters too much when talking about the difference between mp3 and flac. ![]() Most people like to make arguments about bit rates, hertz, listening gear, etc. And you will most likely love to hear it! You WILL notice little nuances and details that you have never heard before. However, if there is a band that you love and you have rarely listened to any of their music in any format other than mp3, you will, without question, notice the added depth and clarity that flac provides, regardless of your listening gear (unless they were super cheap earbuds, maybe). Most people don't care, and you probably won't either, as it's not a lie that mp3 quality is, more often than not, good enough, and often preferable, in the majority of situations that people encounter with regard to music.
